LASER THERAPY

Use Low-Level Laser for more effective treatment of deep muscle, ligament, or joint injuries. It is a surgery-free, drug-free option for individuals suffering from both acute and chronic pain. Treatments are fast, safe, and painless. Most patients see results in 3 to 5 treatment sessions and the treatments have a therapeutic effect continuing for up to 18 hours.

How is Laser Different?

Lasers can stimulate healing AND reduce pain at the same time. This treatment is ideal for speeding up healing of any recent or old, long standing injuries and conditions while simultaneously decreasing the pain.

Is it Effective?

Yes. Over 3,000 research articles have been published about the effectiveness of laser therapy for various conditions. In fact, laser therapy has the most published research of any form of electrotherapy.

Are the Results Temporary?

No. Laser therapy is not masking or blocking pain temporarily. By ‘feeding’ your cells, lasers speed up the natural healing processes so that damaged cells can actually heal themselves.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY

Shockwave or ‘pulsed wave therapy’ is a breakthrough technology in orthopaedic medicine for the treatment of many musculoskeletal injuries.

How Does it Work?

A small metal ball is accelerated inside the hand piece using electromagnetic propulsion until it impacts the stop plate. This collision generates a mechanical pressure wave which is transferred to the applicator head sending the energy through the body.

Immediate Results

Unlike many other forms of therapy, with pulsed wave therapy you will usually notice immediate results. These often include:

        • Significant reduction in pain
        • Increased range of motion
        • Muscle tone normalized
        • Muscle knots and tightness relaxed

How Long Does it Take?

Typical treatments last 5 minutes per area treated. In that time typically about 2000 pulses are delivered. Most conditions require multiple treatments spaced several days apart to allow your body to do its natural healing in between sessions.
